The condition of your brakes is your safety on the road. And not just to stop the car but to also to decelerate downhill.

Checking and reporting the condition of your brakes is routine part of your logbook service, but if your car does not stop like it used to, your steering wheel shudders when braking or you hear any strange sounds when breaking, bring your car to our workshop in Ashmore for a break health check.

All brake pads wear down and lose thickness over time, but if that happens past the minimum thickness, to the metal backing place, the scraping of the metal can cause significant damage to your rotor, that might need replacing.

Every brake service comes not just with replacement of the parts but the whole brake system check. Also every 2 years it is recommended to change your brake fluid, regardless of the mileage, to prevent a decrease in stopping ability and corrosion to your brakes. The main reason is the build up of moisture in brake system that can contaminate it, reducing the stopping abilities and allowing corrosion to build, leading them to be replaced.

For our brake services we use mostly ATE brakes and offer optional ceramic pads for better performance and reduced dust. 

When applicable, every rear brake pad replacement includes a hand brake adjustment.
